He hopes to make language and history engaging, relevant, and accessible to young learners while promoting a deeper understanding of cultural identity and African historical narratives.     Lucy is a 9-year-old girl currently in Grade 2 at Joy Nairobi School. In 2024, she and her 12-year-old brother, Dennis, were taken to Makimei Children’s Home by the Sub-County Children’s Officer after their mother was arrested and charged with child neglect. The children were expected to remain at the home for 6 to 9 months while their mother served her sentence at Lang’ata Women’s Prison. After her release, their mother was placed under probation for a period of monitoring and rehabilitation. Unfortunately, she continued struggling with alcoholism, and tragically, she was later found dead in her house.

Following his rescue, he was taken to Makimei Children’s Home by the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) of Kikuyu Police Station in collaboration with the Sub-County Children’s Officer in Kikuyu.
